Has Been Cancelled Due to Covid-19
District Business Meeting Schedule
As you should have heard by now, the "in-person" District 40 Annual Conference in West Virginia has been cancelled. However, the District is still required to hold the District Business Meeting so we can conduct critical business including our finances, approving realignment for next year, and present a new slate of Leadership candidates for 2020-21. These candidate positions include the District Director, Program Quality Director, and Club Growth Director, plus the nine (9) Division Directors throughout our Geographic Area. The positions of Logistics Manager, Public Relations Manager, Finance Manager, and Administration Manager plus all Area Directors are appointed by the incoming District Director and Division Directors respectively.
The meeting is scheduled to be held on Saturday, May 2nd from 10am to Noon. The District Council Members are eligible to vote and includes all District Executive Committee, Club Presidents and Vice Presidents of Education. No Proxy can be taken by or delegated to another member of the Club because the meeting is virtual. This is Toastmasters International Policy. An Eventbrite registration for the online meeting will be sent to the District Council. Please put this in your calendar now. Registration is required in order to receive voting instructions and be included in the quorum.
